Saying Bye!!!

The past 20 days have been filled with a few Good byes!!!

One of my friends, left for Chennai, after getting a transfer!!! Went with her to buy a suitcase.... She wanted black, I preferred a soda green...In the end, after a lot of bickering and arguing, we bought the green one...didn't know buying a suitcase was so tough!!! Oh yeah , our group of friends, went to watch Ice Age 2 the day she was leaving ... once again impressed with the squirrel...and of course the possums!! After the movie, as each one of us said bye, she got senti (not a new thing!!!) and out came the handkerchiefs!!! Its tough to say bye, especially if you have been having breakfast, lunch and tea with a person every day, for the past one year...but then Life goes on and we keep flowing with it!!!

It was also the month, I said bye to my house…. Yeah!! The one which faces the lake and where the birds come.... had to move cause the raise in rent would have left deep holes in my pocket!!! Now staying with my friends...me and my future room mate have started searching for other houses!! Seems like all the brokers here have our phone numbers and they ours!! Hope we get a new house soon!! The ones we like are too costly and the ones, which are cheap, are a mess...I should not be choosy, but still need a house, which is actually inhabitable!!!

Last month, we also celebrated Earth day in office.. Some documentaries were screened which were really thought provoking. This was followed by a group walk to a nearby river and a photography contest. Below is the photo I took… captioned it as "Hide & Seek". Didn't know, the sunset while standing near the riverbank looked so good!!

Torrent of work already here...so not able to blog as frequently as possible. I miss blogging!!!
